Some little touches of the Four Seasons Boston that you might find interesting is its multilingual concierge, room service that never sleeps, twice daily house keeping , 1 hour pressing, complimentary town car to downtown and having your shoe shined every night with the compliments of the hotel. You feel that the Four Seasons Boston is running at peak performance and that they get things done very efficiently for you. They do all this with a quiet professionalism. The Four Seasons Boston has 274 large guest rooms and 72 suites as well as 12 accessible ( handicapped rooms) Also for those that are doing a little business as the do there leisure travel you will find the rooms well suited with a 2 line telephone system, voice mail, in room fax and computer capabilities Dont miss the dining at the hotel . The food is exquistive the service is remarkable. The Bristol is more informal dining room which is famous for its afternoon tea between 3 and 4:30. A table over looking the Public gardens is a must. It is just the right ambience that slows you down and warms you up all at the same time. The Aujord Hui, the fine dining room at the hotel is considered one the cities finest restaurants . It is on of the only 2 restaurants in Massachusetts to receive the coveted AAA 5 Diamond award. Large picture windows offer diners an unmatched view on the Public Gardens. This dining room is spacious lined with oak paneling, potted palms and oil painting grace the walls. Chef Gagon has a flare for serving amazing food. Dont miss the desserts a real must ! If you need a meeting place from 10 to 400 people the Boston Four Seasons offers to fill all your meeting needs, 8 meeting rooms with a large ball room with a spectacular view of the Public Gardens. The Handicapped room that I stayed in at the Four Seasons Boston was just great! It was a large room with a large king size bed that allowed for my large electric scooter to get around with ease. It had all the amenities of a normal room plus wonderful things such as a roll in shower, large area for transfers. All switches where well placed including the clothes rack in the closet. The hotel in general is very easy to wheel around in from the lobby to the elevators to the swimming pool area. The staff was well versed in communications with the disabled which I appreciated. Their attitudes where positive and never condescending. Very similar to another staff that I raved about which was the Four Seasons in Maui. They are gentle and kind and nothing is a problem . A couple of things on a personal level that I enjoyed about the hotel, is that I am a coffee nut and they serve coffee every morning starting a 6 am . As well as small muffins .The coffee tasted just great!! The staff that look after that are friendly and cheery even at that time of the morning!! I personally enjoyed the Health Club and Spa area which overlooks the Public Gardens. The pool is 45 ft long warm and beautifully maintained. Though they didnt have a lift into the pool the steps are wide and doable. A very relaxing place! The change rooms are the best I have ever been in from plush bathrobes to all the amenities. The gym area is great to send your traveling companions too, though not large it is never crowed and has all the latest machines. The Health club is an oasis in life, opened from 6 am to 10 p.m.

The location of the Four Seasons Boston made me feel very comfortable about going out shopping on Newberry Street just 2 blocks away, to walking ( scooting) through the Public Gardens. Boston is an easy city to get around in though very busy like any large city is, hustle and bustle. The people I met in the shops, on the streets and in the restaurants were helpful, upbeat and friendly. The Four Seasons elegant surroundings are secondary to the care they devoted to their guests. They will do anything from a 50 page fax, to documents translated into Braille. They have video games for children and they also have a comfortable bed and a special menu for dogs! If there is anything you want you simply ask and it is found for you from tickets to shows to information on tours. Nothing is too much of a problem !! I feel the Four Seasons goes out of its way to accommodate with their gentle kindness and gentle effectiveness. A gentle way of being. Now the Four Seasons Boston renown for its elegance is certainly not the cheapest place to stay the rates are $ 405.00 to $805.00 ( Modest hotels in Boston start at $250.00) But well worth it for the location surroundings, security and a feeling of being pampered . I highly recommend the Four Seasons Boston and hope to stay there again. The Four Seasons Boston is the only hotel in Boston to receive 5 diamond and 5 star award .It has also been rated among the top 40 hotels in the world and the top 5 hotels in the United States Location 200 Boylston Street 617-338-4400 1-800-332-3442 www.fourSeasonss.com
