El Conquistador
Wyndham El Conquistador Puerto Rico El Conquistador, everything to Everybody!! Magnificent. Elegant and luxurious El Conquistador Resort & Country Club Puerto Rico is definitely wheelchair accessible. The setting, high atop a hill over looking the ocean makes it like a movie location.

On my trip to El Conquistador Resort & country club I used my electric scooter, which was an asset as this, is a large spread out resort and could be at sometimes trying for a wheelchair alone.
(Unless you have a nice pusher) The surroundings and views from so many different locations are absolutely breathtaking. After a week stay I was still awe struck about the beauty of this spot. Wyndham El Conquistador is not an All Inclusive and doesn't come cheap but the food and accommodations are well worth the money spent.
The Handicapped room was effectively laid out with a King size bed, sofa, small dining table large accessible balcony and a lovely large bathroom with roll in shower. Most locations on the resort were accessible, with lots of ramps.

The El Conquistador is found on top of a bluff on the northeast tip of Puerto Rico, where the Atlantic and Caribbean converge. It is one of the Caribbeans most attractive, lavish, and extravagant resorts. This awesome resort, regarded as one of the best in the Caribbean. A glass-enclosed funicular travels from the top of the cliff to the waters edge, transporting guests to their choice of four distinct resort environments; The Grand Hotel, its two wings, Las Brisas and La Vista, (encircle) the lobby shops, restaurants, casino, and main pool complex.

The location of my handicapped room and very central to this large resort. Las Casitas Village The AAA Five-Diamond resort-within-a-resort features 157 butler-attended villas. La Marina Village (Patterned) after a Mediterranean fishing village with cobblestone streets and little shops with guests enjoy casual living in 144 rooms. Las Olas Village Elegant retreat carved into the side of the cliff Dining Among the resorts 14 restaurants and lounges include: Isabella Steaks and seafood in a setting from old Spain with glorious ocean views Casa de Langosta (Traditional) lobster and seafood restaurant Blossoms The great cuisines of China and Japan OtellosNorthern Italian trattoria (overlooking) the cliff tops from both indoor and outdoor dining areas Lounges Bar 21A sports bar in the casino. Drakes Cigar Bar Club like setting with billiards Amigos Lobby bar with dancing Casablanca Night Club Music and dancing in a room (inspired) by the classic film

What a guest said We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. There were lots of things to do, or absolutely nothing to do. The beach and the pool were great places to do nothing at all. The food was wonderful, too. Isabella's was the best, but all were great. Service was outstanding!

What I can say about El Conquistador... is that it was truly mesmerizing! The gardens, view, decor, sun, food, many activities and friendly ambience provided a relaxing, rejuvenating and very special vacation El Conquistador, everything to Everybody"
