Wyndham El Conquistador Puerto Rico El Conquistador, everything to Everybody!! Magnificent. Elegant and luxurious El Conquistador Resort & Country Club Puerto Rico is definitely wheelchair accessible. The setting, high atop a hill over looking the ocean makes it like a movie location.
On my trip to El Conquistador Resort & country club I used my electric scooter, which was an asset as this, is a large spread out resort and could be at sometimes trying for a wheelchair alone.
(Unless you have a nice pusher) The surroundings and views from so many different locations are absolutely breathtaking. After a week stay I was still awe struck about the beauty of this spot. Wyndham El Conquistador is not an All Inclusive and doesn't come cheap but the food and accommodations are well worth the money spent.
The Handicapped room was effectively laid out with a King size bed, sofa, small dining table large accessible balcony and a lovely large bathroom with roll in shower. Most locations on the resort were accessible, with lots of ramps.
The El Conquistador is found on top of a bluff on the northeast tip of Puerto Rico, where the Atlantic and Caribbean converge. The location of my handicapped room and very central to this large resort. Las Casitas Village The AAA Five-Diamond resort-within-a-resort features 157 butler-attended villas. La Marina Village (Patterned) after a Mediterranean fishing village with cobblestone streets and little shops with guests enjoy casual living in 144 rooms. What a guest said We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. There were lots of things to do, or absolutely nothing to do. The beach and the pool were great places to do nothing at all. The food was wonderful, too. Isabella's was the best, but all were great. Service was outstanding!
What I can say about El Conquistador... is that it was truly mesmerizing! The gardens, view, decor, sun, food, many activities and friendly ambience provided a relaxing, rejuvenating and very special vacation El Conquistador, everything to Everybody"
